We do not guarantee that any feature will remain available indefinitely.
5. User Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit, upload, write, or generate using the Services ("User Content"), subject to rights granted in these Terms.
5.2 License to Typerighter
You grant Typerighter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify, and display User Content solely as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide and maintain the Services;
- Operate platform functionality;
- Support collaboration and sharing features;
- Improve product reliability and safety;
- Conduct analytics and troubleshooting; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
5.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for User Content and for ensuring that you have all rights necessary to use and submit it.
You represent and warrant that your User Content:
- Does not violate applicable law;
- Does not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Does not contain malicious code;
- Does not violate academic integrity policies where applicable; and
- Does not violate these Terms.
6. AI Features and Generated Content
Typerighter may provide AI-generated suggestions, edits, summaries, citations, classifications, authenticity assessments, and other automated outputs.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or incorrect citations;
- Automated analyses may not always be accurate or definitive;
- AI outputs should be independently reviewed before reliance;
- Typerighter does not guarantee originality, accuracy, or fitness for a specific purpose;
- AI-generated suggestions may resemble content generated for other users.
You are responsible for evaluating and verifying any output generated through the Services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services unlawfully;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
- Interfere with platform operations or security;
- Upload malware or harmful code;
- Circumvent access restrictions or rate limits;
- Use automated systems to scrape or overload the Services;
- Misrepresent authorship, identity, or affiliations;
- Use the Services to violate academic, institutional, or professional policies;
- Generate or distribute unlawful, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing content;

Typerighter does not guarantee that use of AI-assisted tools complies with a specific institution's policies.
Institutions administering accounts may have additional rights or controls under separate agreements.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
The Services, including software, interfaces, branding, design, documentation, and related materials, are owned by Typerighter or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you may not:
- Copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Services;
- Use Typerighter trademarks without permission;
- Remove proprietary notices;
- Access the Services for competitive benchmarking or replication purposes.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party platforms, including learning management systems, cloud storage providers, authentication providers, APIs, and productivity tools.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
Typerighter is not responsible for third-party services, content, or availability.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPERIGHTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY;
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
- NON-INFRINGEMENT;
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF OUTPUT;
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability;
- Error-free operation;
- Security against all threats;
- Accuracy of AI-generated output;
- Compliance with institutional or regulatory requirements.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPERIGHTER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
- LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL;
- RELIANCE ON AI OUTPUT OR ANALYTICS;
- SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR SECURITY INCIDENTS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL TYPERIGHTER'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TYPERIGHTER IN THE PREVIOUS TWELVE MONTHS; OR
- ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Typerighter and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Services;
- Your User Content;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- Your violation of law or third-party rights.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
18. Changes to the Terms

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Services, email, or other reasonable means.
